Three designs, six sports
Helix, Kaboom and The Man give this selection a thread. Follow an athlete, collect a design across sports, or compare two subjects from the same release. These are ten additional existing records selected for recognizable players and useful comparisons. They are collecting ideas, not a ranking of returns, scarcity or market activity.
The same two-source standard
Every card receives a direct 130point search and an eBay search with Sold Items selected. Matching transactions are deduplicated by item ID. The review covers the accessible history within each recorded search scope, not every sale ever made. Raw sold listings stay visible even when condition or accepted price prevents their use in a guide.
Diego Maradona · Helix H-1
Maradona’s Helix places a football legend in the same design family as present-day players. This is H-1 from 2025/26 Chrome UEFA Club Competitions. Maradona appears in several recent insert sets, so the player’s name alone is a poor search filter. This review retained 38 matching raw sold-listing observations. The three-sale near-mint sample median is $280. Check the linked sample dates; this is a dated comparison, not a promise of current value.
Kylian Mbappé · Kaboom! #4
Mbappé’s #4 Kaboom belongs to 2021/22 Donruss Road to Qatar. For a collection built around the design, it offers a different release to the Haaland card below. Treat those years and card numbers as separate identities, even when sellers shorten both to Donruss Kaboom. This review retained 6 matching raw sold-listing observations. No raw guide is established: 2 qualifying near-mint USD inputs were found; three are required.
Erling Haaland · Kaboom! #13
Haaland’s 2024/25 Donruss FIFA Kaboom #13 is the second illustrated football card in this selection. Match the standard unnumbered copy before comparing a price; a Gold parallel, another Kaboom release or a graded copy answers a different question. This review retained 80 matching raw sold-listing observations. The three-sale near-mint sample median is $1,650. Check the linked sample dates; this is a dated comparison, not a promise of current value.
Stephen Curry · Helix H-3
Curry’s H-3 brings Helix into a basketball collection. This review targets 2025/26 Topps Chrome. The number, card photograph and release must agree, particularly when listings use abbreviated titles or reference Chrome Update. This review retained 30 matching raw sold-listing observations. The three-sale near-mint sample median is $1,301. Check the linked sample dates; this is a dated comparison, not a promise of current value.
Cooper Flagg · Helix H-11
Flagg’s H-11 sits alongside Curry in the 2025/26 Chrome Basketball Helix checklist. That shared design makes a useful collecting pair, but it does not imply shared value or liquidity. Keep each player’s actual sale evidence separate. This review retained 31 matching raw sold-listing observations. No raw guide is established: 0 qualifying near-mint USD inputs were found; three are required.
Aaron Judge · The Man TM-1
Judge’s TM-1 is from 2026 Finest Baseball’s The Man insert. The design and player can recur across years, so the 2026 identity matters more than the familiar insert name. Raw, unnumbered copies form this review’s target. This review retained 29 matching raw sold-listing observations. The three-sale near-mint sample median is $155. Check the linked sample dates; this is a dated comparison, not a promise of current value.
Patrick Mahomes II · The Man TM-4
Mahomes carries The Man into 2025 Finest Football as TM-4. It is a way to collect a design across sports without treating those sports as interchangeable markets. Match the release and the physical card before importing another result into its history. This review retained 7 matching raw sold-listing observations. No raw guide is established: 2 qualifying near-mint USD inputs were found; three are required.
Lewis Hamilton · Helix HLX-4
Hamilton’s 2025 Chrome Formula 1 Helix HLX-4 is a different card from the 2024 Ultrasonic examined in our previous review. Collecting the same driver across inserts can be rewarding; pricing those inserts together obscures the evidence. This review retained 16 matching raw sold-listing observations. No raw guide is established: 0 qualifying near-mint USD inputs were found; three are required.
Oscar Piastri · Helix HLX-6
Piastri’s HLX-6 provides a same-release counterpart to Hamilton’s HLX-4. Both belong to 2025 Chrome Formula 1 Helix. Compare their designs freely, but evaluate each card’s sale dates, condition and available sample on its own. This review retained 26 matching raw sold-listing observations. No raw guide is established: 0 qualifying near-mint USD inputs were found; three are required.
Novak Djokovic · Helix HLX-14
Djokovic’s HLX-14 extends the Helix selection into 2025 Chrome Tennis. Keep this numeric card code separate from the newer initial-based tennis checklist. A seller’s use of the word Helix is a starting point, not an exact match. This review retained 12 matching raw sold-listing observations. The three-sale near-mint sample median is $451. Check the linked sample dates; this is a dated comparison, not a promise of current value.
The condition label is only the starting point
Two Haaland listings carried a seller Near Mint label, but dedicated reverse close-ups showed a blemish or line that left their comparability unresolved. Both remain in the sale history. Djokovic’s Excellent copies likewise remain visible outside his near-mint sample. Piastri adds a currency distinction: an Australian total including Buyer Protection is not interchangeable with a USD item-only price. These differences explain why a long history may still produce a short guide sample.
Use the full history, then the comparable sample
The latest sold listing and the latest comparable near-mint sale can be different records. An Excellent copy remains an observed sale. A hidden accepted offer retains an unknown amount unless it can be recovered. A slab belongs to its grade, and a numbered parallel belongs to its own edition. Each card page preserves those distinctions and offers a downloadable history with source coverage and prior evidence.
Choose a collecting ceiling
Start with the actual copy and the dated transactions closest to its condition. Add shipping, tax and any import costs before setting a ceiling you are comfortable with. These reviews establish no verified buying edge or return forecast. Relevant marketplace links are disclosed affiliate links; they do not change the selection or evidence rules.
