THE DESIGN FILE 03 OCT 2026 · CHROME TENNIS
Three chases.
Five names.
Helix is the hard one.
Solus. Game. Set. Match. Helix. Five players connect all three, and fifteen exact cards give collectors a place to start.

packs per Helix, across the full five-card checklist.
Topps calls all three designs case hits. Its linked odds table puts Helix furthest apart. That is a useful distinction, with one unresolved detail.

“Case hit” does not mean one per case.
Using the table above, Helix appears 3.75× less often than Solus and 2.5× less often than Game. Set. Match. These are insert-family comparisons, not odds for pulling one particular player.
Topps’ Hobby configuration gives twelve packs per box. At twelve boxes per case, the conditional frequencies would be:
240 boxes · provisional calculation*
64 boxes · provisional calculation*
96 boxes · provisional calculation*
The case figures assume 144 packs. Long-run averages do not guarantee contents or establish print runs, demand or prices. The PDF’s product-label conflict remains unresolved.
02 · START WITH THE FIVE
A small checklist.
A complete crossover.
Sabalenka, Alcaraz, Gauff, Djokovic and Nadal are the entire Helix checklist. All five appear in both of the other designs. The official V2 checklist confirms every code.

03 · THE EDITION BREAK
Same family.
Different card.
Helix keeps its horizontal frame, player photography and intertwined ribbons. The 2026 tennis checklist narrows to five subjects, but a familiar name is not a comparable sale.

04 · SOLUS
Room for the player.
The official Solus preview isolates João Fonseca against a soft, reflective field. Less visual furniture; more space around the photograph.
Its 25-card checklist reaches beyond the Helix five to Fonseca, Iga Świątek, Maria Sharapova, Ben Shelton, Elena Rybakina, Lorenzo Musetti and Qinwen Zheng.
The linked table lists 1:768 Hobby packs*, the most frequent of this three-insert comparison. Fonseca is shown as a design reference; he is outside the fifteen-card crossover.

05 · GAME. SET. MATCH.
The name fills the frame.
Alcaraz sits in front of the oversized lettering. The returning design gives player collectors another distinct target, with 25 checklist entries in 2026.
Its roster also includes João Fonseca, Iga Świątek, Emma Raducanu, Mirra Andreeva, Ben Shelton and Jack Draper. The linked table places it between Solus and Helix at 1:1,152 Hobby packs*.

NO GUIDE.
DATA GAP · WAIT FOR THIRD SALETopps dates the release to September 30. No verified exact completed raw sales are attached to these fifteen new records. That is a research gap, not proof that none have sold.
A first ask cannot set a guide. Neither can a 2025 Helix sale, a graded result or an Alcaraz Solus sale used to price his Helix. We need at least three inspectable, dated and deduplicated exact raw sales before considering a guide.
